Free from pesticides, Gluten and grown locally, Pet Greens’ Pet Grass is the perfect accompaniment for your pet’s overall wellbeing, including a great taste they’ll love.
Through domestication, many pets have become consummate carnivores, however they still need the vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants that are found in plants. In the wild, most animals get this important nutrition through their grass-eating prey. Domesticated pets, on the other hand, may try eating toxic household plants or pesticide/chemical-treated outdoor grass to get the greens they crave. It is much safer to provide your companion with healthy, natural, FRESH grass by Pet Greens.
Unlike some other grow it yourself grasses, ours is NOT made of wheatgrass. It is made of a special blend of grasses designed to provide optimal nutrition for your pets.
Cats especially regurgitate when they eat grass as they lack the necessary enzymes to break down the vegetable matter. While this may not be pleasant, it has benefits by removing indigestible matter from their digestive tract, which is good. In some cats, eating the grass helps break down fur that has moved deep into digestive tract and allows it to be removed in their stool.
Every pet is unique and has its own loving personality. Which goes without saying their reaction to Pet Greens will vary as well. Some will immediately start munching on Pet Greens Pet Grass straight out of the box. While others may just give it a cursory sniff then wonder off and pursue its own agenda. This is to be expected, however, given the positive health benefits of Pet Grass for your pet ——, finding a way to incorporate it in to your pet’s diet is essential.
Clipping the lush green foliage and mixing it in with your pet’s food is the ideal way of introducing them to the benefits of Pet Greens Pet Grass. In no time at all they will be enjoying the taste and feeling the benefits of the added vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to their diet.

Catnip contains a chemical compound called nepetalactone, which attracts and affects cats in various ways. The experience cats will have with Catnip is first by smell, the plant contains certainly aromatic oils that a cat inhales with the special receptor on their nose. This receptor is linked to the region of the brain that controls behaviour, and mostly has a positive or calming effect on cats.
100% natural, Catnip does not have any side effects, nor is it harmful or addictive.
While catnip can be a treat for your cat, it can also be used to calm anxious cats or to train good behaviours. For example, catnip can be used to entice your kitty to use her scratching post or the expensive pet bed you purchased that she wants nothing to do with. It can also be used to encourage active play and exercise.
Cats love catnip, and it’s perfectly safe – there’s nothing in it that can harm your cat. If by some chance your cat was to eat a large amount of catnip, it could cause a mild tummy up set, but that’s not likely to happen.
Response to catnip is hereditary; about 70 to 80 percent of cats exhibit this behaviour in the plant’s presence. In addition, catnip does not affect kittens until they are about six months old.
Cats seek catnip actively and they return day after day to rub against the leaves. To this date, no side effects or permanent effects have been described for cats who have been exposed to catnip for long periods. The pleasant effect of this plant and its harmlessness renders catnip an ideal tool to enrich the environment of cats.
