Dr Katrina Warren and King Leo are part of the Pet Greens family
Australia has one of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world and our pets are definitely valued members of the family. We love to include them in all aspects of our lives and naturally we want them to be happy and healthy. As more and more of our precious pets are living indoors with us, it is more important than ever that we pay attention to meeting their specific mental and physical requirements.
King Leo and I are delighted be working with Pet Greens to help launch this
innovative product across Australia. I believe many Aussie pets will benefit
greatly from a regular delivery of farm fresh greens to their door.
For cats, especially those who live indoors, Pet Grass offers a form of environment enrichment. It allows us to ‘bring the outdoors in’ and gives cats something to graze and nibble on at their leisure, encouraging natural behaviour. Pet Grass provides cats with insoluble fibre that can help with digestion and hair balls.
Pet rabbits and guinea will also benefit from Pet Grass. With this increasing popularity of keeping small pets like these in apartments, the need for fresh, safe grass is huge. Rabbits and guinea pigs are natural grazers and need fresh grass to maintain healthy gut mobility. Fresh pet grass is packed with vitamins and minerals and is high in fibre.
Other small animals like some reptiles and some pet birds will also enjoy fresh Pet Grass as part of offering them a diverse diet and an enriched environment.
Until the arrival of Pet Greens, I have always found it very difficult to source fresh, pesticide free grass for pets. Often the product was not available or had been sitting on shelves for a long time and was old and not suitable for consumption. I am extremely excited that you can now get fresh pots of grass delivered right to your door, bringing pet happiness! Leo and I are delighted to be a part of the Pet Greens family and I hope your own pets enjoy it as much as Leo does.
